Le Tréport
Le Tréport is a long-established Mississauga wedding and convention venue at 1075 Queensway East, with 32,000 square feet of renovated event space, four ballrooms and an on-site chapel with natural light. Le Tréport is one of those old-school venues I’ve known for a long time, but the recent renovations changed my impression of it completely. The ceremony room I remembered as a small back space has been opened up with higher ceilings, larger windows, new lighting, new fixtures and new flooring. When I photographed there recently, it felt almost like a new venue.
The food is one of my strongest memories. At a Portuguese wedding there, the buffet and banquet meal were so good that my videographer and I were still talking about it weeks later.
Another big advantage is location. Adamson Estate and the Rhododendron Gardens are both close enough to make them practical portrait stops, and the venue is also convenient to the 427 and QEW. That makes the wedding day easier to plan without sacrificing good photography options.
