Macedonian Hall Overlea

Macedonian Hall on Overlea Boulevard in Toronto is a large community hall that couples dress to their own traditions — drums, gold chairs, patterned fabric and ceremonial props. SIGS photographed Salem and Shannon's wedding here in August 2025, the couple in elaborate traditional African attire on the white staircase and in the decorated hall.
