Toronto Harbour front - Yankee lady IV

I met my wife Marianna the day my brother got married. I was the best man, and my brother & his fiancée hired my wife's father's photography studio to shoot their wedding. It was my luck that the photographer that was sent turned out to be Marianna. From that day forward we have been together. For over 20 years Marianna and I have made SIGS photography and wedding video one of the top wedding photography and video studios in Toronto & South Florida. Shooting ONLY weddings. We are a team of experienced, professional film makers who take pride in producing great work.  Our bride's and grooms come from every and all backgrounds. We have experience working in nearly every culture. Our photography and video teams are fun, knowledgeable and crazy people.

Over Prepare

We use back up equipment for our back up equipment and can handle up to 6 weddings every weekend, although we limit ourselves to a maximum of 2 weddings on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. Typically turn away over 60 weddings a year, because we are booked.

Jean and his cameraman were always ahead of the schedule for all the locations and very courteous to my bride’s family and mine. Their attitude was very professional but personal which made us all relaxed and let us take amazing pictures. That day, he took over 750 pictures and most of them were fantastic. Also, I have never heard of photographers having the proofs ready exactly 7 days after the wedding! They were always on top of us to get us to pick our pictures and make sure we received our video/albums/within a couple months after the wedding. Also, the attention to detail was very high. They made sure all the portraits were developed clean and correctly and mounted professionally. We enjoyed every moment with him and his team. Can’t praise his work enough!

DID YOU KNOW?

When Jean and Marianna met, photography was shot ONLY on film cameras? Oh, and you had to manually focus the lense. Really. A typical wedding involved shooting between 160-240 photos throughout the ENTIRE day. Then the film would go to a professional photo lab to be processed. A few weeks later (seriously. Brides and Grooms had to wait weeks to see if the photos came out) then would come by the studio to pick up physical 4x6 and 5x5 prints. There were no USBs, no Dropbox no DVDs. Oh - and no Adobe Photoshop.
