Does Paradise host both the ceremony and the reception?

Yes. Couples can hold an outdoor ceremony in Paradise's Garden and then move inside to one of its ballrooms for the reception. The venue describes walking down a grassy garden aisle to say your vows in the light of the setting sun, then leading guests over a long white Victorian bridge directly into a ballroom for the celebration. We've photographed both halves of that day here — garden ceremonies set with white chairs, grand-staircase entrances, and the first dances and receptions that follow.

Which ballrooms does Paradise offer, and how many guests fit?

Paradise operates six indoor ballrooms plus the outdoor Garden. By the venue's own figures the rooms seat: Grand Queens up to 1,000 guests — its most expansive space at 11,022 sq ft, with high ceilings and three chandeliers — the Classic Ballroom 420, Queen Mary 260, Queen Anne 220, Queen Victoria 180, and Prince 110. Each ballroom comes with a private lobby, one or more bridal suites, a bar, and its own dance floor.

What is the Garden like for an outdoor ceremony and photos?

The Garden is a manicured outdoor space with a gazebo at one end and an elegant white colonnade at the other, joined to the ballrooms by a long white Victorian bridge. The venue positions it as the setting for sunset vows before an indoor reception, and as a backdrop for wedding photos. In our own coverage here we've shot couples at the gazebo and on the bridge, plus portraits among the garden's trees and greenery at golden hour.

Where are the strongest portrait spots inside Paradise?

Paradise gives a photographer a lot to work with indoors. Across the weddings we've documented here, our portraits have used the grand staircase, the crystal chandeliers, the marble lobby, the columns and a balcony, a library-styled room, and a grand piano. Outdoors, the gazebo, white colonnade, and Victorian bridge anchor the garden frames.

Is there parking at Paradise?

Yes. The venue offers free on-site parking, and notes a selection of nearby hotels for out-of-town guests.

Paradise is one of those halls I’ve known for decades — I even considered it for my own wedding. The outdoor garden is still one of my favourite ceremony settings: the white bridge, the stairs, the columns and all that mature landscaping make it feel completely removed from Jane Street.

What I remember most, though, is the consistency. I’ve known staff there for years, and I still remember the original owner quietly adding extra décor for a young couple who didn’t have much room in their budget. When they walked in and saw what had been done for them, they cried. That kind of care stays with you.

The food has always been a strength for me too, especially the Italian-style pasta and the late-night dessert tables. If you want a classic Vaughan banquet-hall wedding with a real outdoor ceremony option, Paradise is one of the places I know extremely well.
