About SIGS Photography
Jean Marcotte and Marianna Kogan founded SIGS Photography in 1996. Twenty-nine years and more than 1,000 weddings later, the studio is still family-run with a team of ten photographers and videographers.
Jean and Marianna
Jean Marcotte met Marianna Kogan at his brother's wedding in 1995. She was the photographer; he was a guest. They were engaged within three months and now have four children together.
SIGS is named after the kids' first initials: Sammy, Isabelle, Gabriella, and Sasha. The studio opened in 1996 and has photographed more than 1,000 weddings across Southern Ontario.
The team
Jean Marcotte is the principal photographer and a licensed drone pilot. Marianna Kogan is principal photographer and business manager. Cole Fulton is principal photographer, videographer, and drone pilot.
Camille Jones-Whyte is principal photographer and videographer. Two crews of three professionals work in sync to cover full-day weddings — photo and video together, never as separate vendors.
