Jean and Marianna

Jean met Marianna at his brother's wedding in 1995. She was the photographer; he was a guest. They were engaged within three months and now have four children together.

SIGS is named after the kids' first initials: Samuel, Isaac, Gabby and Saul. The studio opened in 1996 and has photographed more than 1,000 weddings across Southern Ontario.

The team

The Principals

Jean: Having shot an average of 30 weddings a year for the past 29 years, Jean brings decades of invaluable, hands-on experience to every event. As a principal photographer, he also personally handles all the photo editing and meticulous retouching to ensure your final gallery is flawless and consistent.

Marianna: Operating as the studio's business manager, Marianna is also a principal photographer with 30 years of experience. She acts as our dedicated safety net—always on standby and ready to jump in without missing a beat in the event of an emergency or unforeseen circumstance.

Cole: A principal photographer, videographer, and our resident drone pilot. Beyond his immense technical talent, he is genuinely one of the coolest, most grounded guys you could ask to have by your side on a stressful wedding day.

Ryan: A principal photographer and videographer. When it comes to capturing authentic, unscripted moments, he is hands down one of the greatest candid photographers in the industry.

Our Weekly Crews Jey, Marius, Nikki, Isaac, Samuel, Camille, and Lucas round out our exceptional roster. Every professional on this crew brings years of dedicated experience in both photography and videography. They are all fully trained photographers, seamlessly equipped to step into the critical role of a second shooter at a moment's notice.

Jey, Nikki, and Camille regularly shoot photography alongside our principals, acting as the backbone of our multi-angle photo coverage.

Lucas, Isaac, and Samuel are highly capable photographers in their own right, but bring a specialized, elevated focus to our documentary videography and drone operations.

How We Work To ensure complete coverage of full-day weddings, we deploy two dedicated crews of three professionals. Because our photographers and videographers are all part of the same in-house roster, they work in perfect synchronization—moving as a single, cohesive unit and never competing as separate vendors.
