The Manor has always felt a bit like a destination wedding without actually leaving the GTA. Once you are down by the water, the gazebo, pond, waterfall and lower-level grounds give you enough variety that you can photograph a large part of the day without taking the couple anywhere else.

I’ve used the gazebo many times for family and wedding-party photographs, and I like the way the different levels of the property give you different views back toward the water. The covered lower-level area is also useful when the weather is uncertain because you still have an outdoor feeling without being completely exposed.

I’ve photographed The Manor many times over the years, and the food and service have always felt very consistent to me. It has the polish of a high-end hospitality venue but still keeps that classic Italian banquet-hall warmth.
