Alexandria & Derado

October 17, 2025

A note from Jean

Alexandria and Derado’s wedding in St. Catharines was such a warm, family-centered day. They did not have an official bridal party, but that did not mean Alexandria was getting ready alone. At least ten of her closest friends came to the house to support her while she got dressed, which fit perfectly with something she later said in her speech about having so many best friends in her life. One of the moments I remember most clearly happened when Alexandria came down the stairs and did a first look with her father. The expression on his face was unforgettable, and I am pretty sure that moment is in the Sneak Peeks. Alexandria also did a first look with Derado before the ceremony. We photographed the two of them with their children at the front of the ceremony location, and those family portraits were some of my favourites from the day. Their kids were absolutely adorable. Then at the reception, Alexandria sang to open the dance floor. The entire room reacted instantly. About 150 guests poured onto the dance floor around her, singing and dancing together. It was one of those reception moments where the energy changed completely in seconds.
