Myrelle & Randy

Myrelle and Randy’s wedding at Spencer’s at the Waterfront had such a great mix of family, culture and beautiful locations. One of the first things that impressed me was the Airbnb they rented across the street from the venue. It was high up, around the twelfth floor, with an incredible view over Lake Ontario. We made some of my favourite bridal portraits of Myrelle there, with the lake stretching out behind her. Her bridesmaids were also fantastic to work with and really knew how to pose, which made that part of the morning especially fun. The ceremony at Spencer’s was a delight. I remember the Filipino side of the family gathering near the front before everything began, and there seemed to be sponsors everywhere. I believe there were at least a dozen, and they each took part in the processional. Later, we were able to photograph them properly, both individually and together with Myrelle and Randy. During dinner, we took the couple outside for a few quick evening portraits as the sun was going down. It was not one of those dramatic, fiery sunsets, but the softer light made me appreciate the architecture of Spencer’s even more. And I still remember the food. I am still drooling over the beef.
