This bridge, located just below the bathrooms is one of my favorite Toronto engagement photo locations. Here I am stand up on the embankment shooting down. Notice how the railing almost hug the couple? Love it. Black & white engagement photos are cool too.
Shot at Mill Pond in the spring. We were thinking of cancelling the Engagement shot when I convinced them not to. I remember pre-wedding photos I took 20 years before in the same foggy weather and explained how this could be an opportunity. We were all happy with the results. They ended up buying a 3 portrait collage that hangs in their home to this day.
Shot right next to the parking lot, this sliding door faces the street. I love the simple lines, the hard sharpening and how their personality fly out of this Engagement Photo. Mill Pond allows us to shoot flowers, trees, nature and some kick ass hard core street images. All without an expensive permit!
I actually like shooting winter engagement photography. Sure it’s cold. But not for me! I’m wearing coat, boots. Just kidding. We recommend heat packs & gloves. Get to the spot I want to shoot, get ready, and I shoot quickly. We make it fun.
OK so this is not really a cabin. It’s a house. For the swans!! There are 2 beautiful white swans that live in this cabin all year round. The city feeds and cares for them. This black & white engagement photo was taken just beyond the lake.
Mill pond in the winter is always a delight. Shooting on my favorite bridge. Pre wedding photos, in all our wedding photography packages, give our brides and grooms the opportunity to get to know us. This B&W engagement photo makes this couple pop from the background.
Richmond Hill Mill Pond park offers an amazing variety of Engagement Photography spots. Here we are in the wood shooting towards the pond. The hut in the background is actually the home for the 2 white swans that live in the park.
So much going on here. One of my favorite couples. He is a pilot, as you can tell with the planes & she is a stylist. Shot at Mill Pond that log cabin is actually the bathroom where our wedding couple often go to change outfits for different shoots.
There’s an old bridge located at Mill Pond, near the parking lot. Offers amazing engagement photo opportunities. I like to get down low and shoot up splitting them on the horizon line. If you visit their gallery you can see I did some very subtle Photoshop work to make this Engagement Portrait a 10.
Meet at the where the old Starbucks cafe used to be now called Balzac's Coffee Roasters - Kleinburg

There’s an old train station located right next to the public school and across from the church in Kleinburg. One of the 5 best places to shoot Engagement Photos in Kleinburg.
Fact is, Doctor’s house is private property and unless your wedding is there we avoid shooting on the property. However, the sidewalk is fair game! Love this white picket fence! Changed the sign from Private Residence to couple’s name.
One of the fun things about Kleinburg is there are a ton of little niches & windows where I can take photos that are unique. Love the old red window & blue wall. Both very aged. Kinda metaphor for relationships?
This spot in the building next to Subway has produced dozens of Wedding Portraits. Kleinburg is famous as a wedding day photography location as well as a beautiful place to shoot Engagement Photos.
The town has a set of building made of red brick that when the Engagement Photo is B&W creates a real cool atmosphere. We got lucky that someone parked their motorcycle outside the barber shop.
No permits for Kleinburg Engagement Photography however this place has big signs in the window demanding money to shoot. Screw that. Just stand on the street.
I usually take a stroll with my couple up to the chapel doors and back to the street. This is one of the loveliest places to shoot wedding and engagement photography in Kleinburg.
There are very few places to shoot in the event of rain. This covered veranda is one of them. Located in the building across from Subway. The left is all parking spots so I have to sit on floor. That’s OK, the lamps are pretty nice.
Distillery District - Extra + permit required
Meet in front of Balzac’s Coffee - Toronto
1 Trinity St. Toronto, On, M5A 1G3 , Canada
A relatively new art piece, Engagement photography at the distillery district is made better because we can merge with the art that is the District.
This old truck at distillery district is a great background for a bride and groom’s engagement photo. Located next to Balsac’s coffee it’s a unique engagement photo opportunity.
The Distillery District has many very cool looking alleyways that lend themselves perfectly for Engagement Photo. Notice how your eyes are drawn towards the bride?
Because the Distillery district is a public place there are tons of places to sit. And shoot. This photo taken on a picnic bench with the amazing brick background is typical of Distillery District.
Engagement photo taken right outside of Cluny’s bistro. Perfect place to shoot incredible engagement photography. Iron railings and old fashion light posts make perfect props.
Engagement photo in alleyway leading to the entrance of El Catrin restaurant. Often shoot early in the morning before the restaurant has customers. The patio is an incredible place to shoot Toronto engagement photographs.
Shot just outside the distillery district near the parking lot using the bike racks. The interesting brickwork and iron windows gives this Distillery District engagement photograph a great background.
Shot right by the entrance to the parking garage the iron railings and brickwork make this Italing couple’s engagement photo pop. So does his hat.
Toronto Distillery District Engagement Portrait like this one are multidimensional. With Balzac’s coffee and Still Dancing art installation in the backgrounds this portrait tells a story about what this couple loves. Coffee & Art.
Distillery District Engagement Photo with old truck and Balzacs coffee. They also brought their own sign with the word LOVE.
